Separately incorporated
A separately incorporated company that pursues, contracts, invoices and delivers work in its own name.
Operating Venture Partnerships
FORCES GROUP selects one proven operating partner in a defined market to build a new, majority Indigenous-owned business. Your existing company remains yours. Together, we pair genuine Indigenous leadership with an established delivery team, a funded launch and a clear market opportunity.
Background: FORCES Indigenous digital artwork.
The proposed model
A separately incorporated company that pursues, contracts, invoices and delivers work in its own name.
Genuine Indigenous ownership, decision authority and participation in its management.
A proven operating partner contributes the people, systems, licences, delivery capability and initial market opportunities required to make the company viable.
The commercial case
Build a new line of growth while your existing business continues unchanged and remains yours.
A dedicated company that combines Indigenous leadership with delivery capability you have already proven.
The ability to pursue relevant procurement opportunities as a genuine company with its own people, systems and track record to build.
An opportunity to develop repeatable work and a business with value of its own over time.
Procurement pathways
Where the new venture qualifies as an Indigenous SME, Commonwealth buyers may use Exemption 16 to engage it directly, subject to buyer choice, value for money and applicable buying rules.
The Mandatory Set Aside gives eligible Indigenous SMEs an opportunity to demonstrate value for money before a wider market approach for qualifying purchases, including relevant remote procurements.
Indigenous participation requirements on relevant large Commonwealth contracts can create real subcontracting and supplier opportunities when the venture has the capability to deliver.
Each venture must establish its own eligibility and verification. Saltwater's existing credentials do not automatically transfer to a new company. Procurement pathways depend on the buyer, the opportunity and the applicable rules. See the Indigenous Procurement Policy (opens the NIAA website in a new tab).
What we look for
FORCES selects one operating partner per defined market, subject to commercial assessment and agreement.
Proven delivery in a defined market
A named leadership team and operating capacity
Credible initial customer opportunities
The ability to commit funding and resources to a real launch
The pathway
Introduce the business and market.
Test the first opportunities, delivery model and operating economics.
Agree governance, commercial terms and launch commitments.
Incorporate and begin genuine trading in the venture's own name; obtain its own registration before claiming IPP eligibility, and pursue certification only when its separate criteria are met.
Proof of delivery
Two Rapid-10 systems for the ADF / PNG program and one Rapid-20 system for the AFP / PNG program — designed and developed by FORCES and manufactured by approved partners.
